So many of the sites I visit need Java. I'll have to stop using
Netsurf if Java doesn't come some time soon. I realise it's a lot of
work, but I don't know how to do it.

I assume you mean JavaScript? If so, NetSurf isn't going to get JavaScript
support any time soon.
