New kernel patch didn't solve my problem.
I noticed also that number of packets dropped which is shown in ifconfig
output increases always by 4294967295 no mather what time elapsed between two
runs.

First of all I managed to reproduce this bug with Gentoo LiveCD 2007.0 amd64
so now Im sure it is not Ubuntu specific. 2007.0 comes with kernel
2.6.19-gentoo-...

After installing kernel 2.6.22-rc4 with patches 0001..0013 (there wasn't
patch) the problem is not solved. I still get the same behaviour.
