Hi All,
I am planning to write a tool to detect real time BGP IP prefix hijacking.
I am glad to know some of the open problems faced by
providers/companies/community.
I would like to know how the community is currently dealing and mitigating
with such problems.
It will be very helpful to know some
Hi All,
Does there exists any open source implementations for detection of BGP
prefix hijacking using data plane solutions.
If not data plane, what are the methods used for detecting BGP IP prefix
hijacking.

Hi All,
where can I found the current coverage of IP prefixes under RPKI system.
Stats like total prefixes issued collectively by all the organisations like
RIR's/IANA/ISP's.
stats like prefixes coverd under RPKI system.
The goal is to detect the BGP IP prefix hijacking using RPKI system.
I would

Hi Nanog,
what are the detection times for BGP IP prefix hijack detection systems
adopted by community members/operators (if any) ?

Nagarjun
Well, the idea behind the mail was to know if anyone in the community are
doing real time BGP IP prefix hijacking.
Like Artemis detection tool claims to be detecting in 1.4 ~ 3.1 minutes. So
I wanted to know if anyone in the community are using such tools for
detecting hijacks, if yes how much time
against
hijack event.

Nagarjun

Hi nanog,
Is it possible to maintian an IRR database locally for quering route
objects from various RIR's and do a regular sync like what RPKI validator
does for ROA's.
