I would guess that probably everything from Kuala Lampur area is trunked via
Singapore anyway?

I wouldn't recommend malaysia when singapore is available next door
with excellent connectivity region wide

with what I have heard - generally Hong Kong and Singapore are the major hubs,
with Tokyo even being an option even though it is not 'geographically' close
and also possibly there are options in Malaysia.

Singapore, with a fallback / DR location in say Hong Kong.
