Hi all -
Working on an issue for a very large customer of Bandcon's and they
have not been able to flag anyone down from Bandcon since the I
believe the Highwinds acquisition and we need some BGP changes to be
made. Can anyone contact me offlist? Would be most grateful.

It's good to hear that you've listened to feedback and made these key
operational operational changes.
In a former life, I used Bandcon for point to point transport between POPs.
We did not use them for IP Transit.
I found Bandcon to be professional, responsive, and their technical design
and delivery quality very high.
Problems were extremely rare, and when they occurred they were dealt with
space.com

Here are a few facts:
BandCon offers transport services that can be configured as
unprotected or protected. If you buy an unprotected circuit, and the

phone or respond to e-mail. Like someone else pointed out, multi-day
outages aren't at all uncommon, so if you end up going with Bandcon,
make sure you have sufficient redundancy in place.
Since they can't really compete on quality, they compete instead on
price. Their
ere's no excuse for Bandcon or any
reseller not to return calls promptly and provide regular status
updates -- even if their upstream support is unresponsive. Network
Innovations, another reseller, has fantastic customer support.

Update, Monday, Sept 8, 12:00 p.m. ET: Todd Braning, vice president of
BandCon, just e-mailed me to say that BandCon also has stopped providing
connectivity to Atrivo/Intercage. From his e-mail: "Intercage, a new
customer, was connected to the BandCon Network for total of about a week.

I don't use them for IP transit, but I do use them for Level3 CDN
service, and I've had positive experiences with both my sales rep and
the support people. They get stuff done in a timely manner and are also
pretty flexible towards meeting our needs.
Anyone here use Bandcon's transport services? Positive/Negative experiences,
any feedback would be helpful..
