Can somebody from Akamai network engineering team reach me off-list?
For over a week now I have been having a network routing problem in the NYC
market.
Thank you

Good ISP, fast and knowledgeable NOC, pricing is also pretty good.
If you have multiple peers already and want to do traffic
management/engineering forget it. HE heavily peers with everyone and they don't
accept communities from their clients.

Their route-servers just can’t keep up.
They are not getting our community-string announcements at all

Came to my attention that most of my Data Centers in the US are having problems
using Hulu, Disney+ and not as much but also Netflix.
What criteria do these providers use to make sure that the IPs are legit and
not proxys/VPNs
All the IPs I checked on number of GEO sites are registered to an add
Can somebody contact me off-list from Disney+ please
Thank you
These numbers are nothing. Wait till IPv6 really start taking off.

A very long time ago, I commented on this
All new CL Internet get's provisioned on AS3356
You would need a strong case for them to put you on AS209
At this time they are not merging the two AS's
And also define "quality" ;-)

I personally recommend Kentik.
We mainly got it for DDoS detection which so far been 100% reliable for us
Now we also use it for other traffic analysis.
Query is extremely fast.
Support is also fantastic. If you're looking for a feature that they may not
have, just ask...

So I've been using Arista as layer2 for quite some time, and I'm pretty happy
with them.
Kicking the idea around to turn on some Layer3 features but I've been hearing
some negative feedback.
The people that I did hear negative feedback don't use Arista themselves. (they
just heard)
So do we
CWDM option might be your best bet here.
If you need more channels and you want to go to DWDM then check out Ekinops
Great product and they don't charge as much as the other guys

Kentik has been great for us on notification and analysis.
They are pretty much accurate and you can set-up tons of alerts and even action.
For example Automatic blackhole for DDoS
I wouldn’t use them to shift your traffic around (aka traffic engineering) but
I'm sure you can set that up as well.
I got a few CERs and 7600's
You will not notice the CPU lag anymore like in the 7600's
Extremely fast and puts the 7600's to shame

Radware DefensePro x420s is what we use.
Works great and extremely fast.
Just need to make sure where you install it on your network.
For best results you want to make sure you get the return traffic as well into
the box otherwise it won't be able to detect all attacks.

Does anybody have any idea on when Verizon FiOS is turning up IPv6? (dual-stack)
Thank you in advance
Check out Ekinops
They have been rock solid with me. They are not as expensive as the others and
there's no switching in the backplane. Everything happens on the module cards
