I think I noticed this actually start a bit longer than that. Around the
time they started charging for BGP sessions and IP blocks on existing
customers. So at least a year but I think closer to two years ago.

I'm fairly certain I was told if I was in bell Colo they would be passing
me Ethernet without a CPE/nid. I'm also pretty sure they said they normally
do that where possible in Colo. But I could be wrong.
My last discussions were with wholesale.

Recently acquired a new 2-byte AS number from ARIN. It had a previous owner
whom had records setup at ALTDB.
I've sent emails to request removal but haven't heard anything back.
Any tips or a different venue I can use to get in touch with the altdb
folks?
