I'm seeing issues with Level 3's looking glass (https://lookingglass.level3.net) since they rolled out the new one with the CenturyLink branding. Any query results in "Invalid usage. POST variable not set.". Also, the radio buttons under the "Information Category" selection allow more than one

Can anyone recommend a transit provider in Bracknell, UK? Not too picky on requirements, but IPv6 is a must;  RTBH and good peering are a very good to have. We're looking to replace one of our current providers (Virgin Media - AS5089). I have no problem naming them as they treat prefix list up

Bill I ran into this same issue some time ago. I had to move my mail off of Gmail for the same reason. In my case it was on a shared box with people who were not forwarding to Gmail and was causing issues for them sending to Gmail. Gmail really needs a "this server is forwarding email to me" se

Transit Options in the UK?

Another option might be an analog modem + phone line + carrier TAP gateway (if your carrier(s) has/have one). Might or might not be more cost-effective. GTG > -Original Message- > From: NANOG [mailto:nanog-boun...@nanog.org] On Behalf Of Martin > Hotze > Sent: September 15, 2015 8:37 AM >

You can still request a 16 bit ASN from the registries, so if this is a concern for a new deployment you're not out of luck (yet). There is a compatibility mechanism, so you can still receive routes sourced from (or passing through) 32 bit ASNs, they will simply appear as AS 23456. Even if you have

I think you misunderstood me. You definitely need prefix filters on the *provider* side, but the CPE doesn't necessarily need them as the impact is hopefully limited to that particular customer. They're always better of course. GG On 8/20/09, Daniel Roesen wrote: > On Thu, Aug 20, 2009 at 08:47:

FWIW, we use BGP to our multihomed customers (even when we manage the CPE), using a private AS. OSPF doesn't have the right toolset to provide protection for inter-network route propogation, and the risk of some customer's CPE screwing up you routing is just too high to go naked. A basic CPE BGP co
