I would state that peering gives more control over the traffic you handle
(since it is not going over someone else's network). Every hop is a
possible problem to your operations, I guess.

Hi Matthew,
I'm pretty sure your 'gkstream.com' is wrong and that he means qkstream.com
(see https://www.robtex.com/en/advisory/ip/66/171/128/130/ ). That does not
seem broken.
I do wonder if this domain qkstream.com used to be squatted?

We use Zabbix for local monitoring. Quite powerful (Nagios crapped out a lot on
larger setups, although 300 is not large). There is a learning curve for Zabbix.
We have a few VPS'es outside our network for DNS reasons. They are configured
as (pushing) monitoring nodes too. Bye,

It is Google's problem. Because they need to check every time, before sending,
if they are allowed to send emails. Otherwise they would/could be spamming
(depends on your favorite definition of spam).

About #3... I had a little discussion on abuse-wg@RIPE a while ago about
keeping records up to date and relevant. See below.
Nobody at RIPE cares much at the moment (to actually pick up this subject).
Maybe they need a push with a TerexRH400.

the answer correctly.
Can someone come up with a good explanation why a tiny percentage of our
customers cannot resolve (some of) our domains?
Btw, our nameservers (transip.nl) only provide DNSSEC records if explicitly
asked. What is standard here?
Thanks,
