None of this has anything to do with this 'DOA' thing, though.

My understanding of 'DOA' is that it's a general category of software
architecture (think CORBA) and nothing to do with name resolution or any
sort of directory services,

Does anyone have any information about DOA versus DNS. Any ideas about
security with DOA is better than DNS. Maybe pros and cons of DOA versus
DNS?

It is interesting to see the differences. For instance to put my
unit in bridge mode I just logged into it, said bridge mode, and
rebooted it. That method was actually documented in their business
class FAQ.
I'm sure there are great differences in plant and capabilities.
There's a lot of M&A hi

Hi all,
Sorry for the noise - just after a NOC contact at AS43531 if there are any
on-list. We're observing a routing issue at Equinix IX Silicon Valley, and need
some insight from their side. Emails to NOC have gone unresponded to for a few
days...

Hey Chris,
Size has a lot to do with policy. For very large organizations,
regional models make sense. Orwell had his regional divisions[1] and
Level3 has theirs[2]. TW had a domestic version of regions before
things were centralized.
I'd argue for the organizational affect of standardization.
