Maybe that is the reason why they introduced censoring the day before yesterday
here in germany.

If it's passive, surely it doesn't matter whether it's 1GigE, 10GigE
or whatever, it's passive - it just uses mirrors and lenses to add the
signals into one big chunky trunk port feed?
