I just setup my first mythtv box 0.18.1 with 2 plextor M402Us, video
quality is great, but audio quality even with highest MP3 quality sucks.
Any ideas?

ideas, but they are all for much older version of myth and don't seem to
work for 18.1 or cvs.

Anyone know of any small QWERTY remotes that can be used with myth? I have
seen lots of wireless keyboards, but I want something much smaller. You
don't need to type a lot, so something shaped lime my treo 650 would be

Anyone able to change the bitrate with the Plextor ConvertX in myth? I go
to the prefs for and started with Live TV, no matter what the bitrate was
100 - 6000 it always used the same. I also have tried changing Default and
file size still is about 1 gig an hour no matter what bitrate I select.

set top boxes. The first problem I have is that if I go into Recording
Profiles and select USB MPEG-4 Encoder and edit the bit rate and save the
recordings still look the same and take up same amount of space. It does
not matter

and setup a video source called VCR and then manually created a channel
and for good measure added a year long program guide entry. However when I

I just installed a WinTV card using the bttv drivers on Suse 10. I can
watch tv on the card via SUSE TV apps, but have issue on Myth.
The card setup without issue and mythtv-setup even was able to correctly
scan the channels. However when I goto watch that input I get the
