I am considering moving from Fedora Core 2 to Centos 4, since we already
use Red Hat Enterprise at work and that's what I'm most familiar with.
I prefer RPM over source installs. Anyone running successfully on
CentOS 4? Are atRPMs for CentOS 4 about as timely as support for
Fedora? How about iv

Thanks, yes, I uploaded the fixes ~10h ago and verified them working

I am still experiencing the problem on FC2/i386. Is this still
supported and if so, I would appreciate it if you could let me know if
it should be working.

I have the audio out of my PVR350 going into the sound card. The output
of the sound card is sent to the stereo. This allows me to watch TV and

What I wonder about is 5.1 surround. I don't have digital cable. Is
digital cable required to receive 5.1? I hav

Hello Mythers. I had a drive go south on me and eventually decided to
rebuild the system from scratch on different hardware. During the
process of the drive failing, the database was corrupted. I *do* have
backup but not as far back as I need to get a good, clean copy of the
database, so the bac

I have been thinking of using a laptop CPU to save power on a new MythTV
system. Basically, I'd like to be able to use the cpuspeed daemon to
drop the CPU speed when there isn't a lot going in. Has anyone done
with with a full-size mainboard? Any other tips?

Actually, I don't care too much about heat and noise since the server is
in the basement. I truly am interested in energy conservation but at

I had an idea about how the delay might be reduced when changing
channels. In a 2+ tuner system, can one tuner "leapfrog" the other and
start buffering the next or previous channel, depending on the direction
the user is surfing?
For example, I start at channel three.
Tuner two starts buffering
