Ideally, I would like to have video out on every possible device
simultaneously. The thought behind this is that I could use the
PVR-350 output and have the LCD output at the same time and/or send

I followed Jarod's guide and preformed the following actions:
$ cd
$ perl /usr/share/doc/mythtv-*/contrib/mkiconmap.pl
$ mythfilldatabase --import-icon-map iconmap.xml --update-icon-map

I would just set up a static ip for the mythtv box and then add a port
redirection from your router's outsite IP to the static NAT'ed
address.
As an example, statically set your mythtv ip to 192.168.1.200 (or

Is there such a thing as fine tuning frequencies for a PVR 350? I've
got a half dozen channels that seem to have extra static/noise through
the Hauppage PVR 350. The channels look great when the cable is
hooked up directly to the TV, but through the PVR 350 I get vertical
bars on chan
