I have downloaded Version mysql -3.23.49,my question is why dosent mysql
support Transactions (Rollback ,Commit) lie Oracle or Ms Sql Server Etc

We are using mysql to store documents. We are using mysqldump to take backups. We have
seen restores of that backups results in corruption of document data. Can anyone tell
me the reason. We have 3.24 lunning on Linux RH7
