I trying to install mysql from source on a RedHat 7 box,
mysql version 3.23.34a
output from uname -a: Linux webserver.tmxnm.cxm 2.2.16-22smp #1 SMP Tue Aug
22 16:39:21 EDT 2000 i686 unknown
Hardware is Compaq 5000 professional workstation
Compiler is gcc-2.96-54
When I run ./configure --
rry to ask newbie questions, but hey if you ever need help with Director
