I'm having trouble with a vbulletin database running mysql as the back end.
It's running on linux server. Basically we had some weird problems and was
hoping someone else has seen this. First the boards went down because
somehow all the permissions on the table files in
/usr/local/mysql/var/ wer
I believe it has both. Mandrake I know has both.

I am trying to link with the static lib mysqlclient.lib and keep getting
errors like this

I have the mysql version 3.23.45, running win2k, compiling on vc6.

Can any of you point me to documentation or have a quick summary of how
beefy to make a mysql server. Basically we probably won't have more than 50
connections at one time and we will be pushing packets of 2Mb at times. I'm
