What has happended to all the bk repo's? The documentation says there

I have been unable to use the bk client to update my bk trees. I just
hangs
/usr/local/bin/bk-update bk://mysql.bkbits.net/mysql-4.1 mysql-4.1
I usually run this every 4 hours to keep my local trees up to date. The

Ever since I had something like a stroke in Aug/Sep 09 I make a lot of
mistakes. I forgot to backup/dump the mysql databases before my os
upgrade. Now I am stuck and I am not sure what to do. Any ideas?

You may also need to pub a temporary link from libsocket.so.1 to
libsocket.so.2 There will be a new patch that will install this
libsocket.so.2 library. So you will need to remove the link when it comes

I am not sure, but I think this is coming up because you need to use gcc
libraries. I seem to remember that I tried to link libmysql... with the
regular SCO compiler and I got this message. The regular SCO cc will not
work. You have to use gcc-2.95.2 or newer, because the regular SCO
com
You need to use the following when you build mysql to use all options.
CC=gcc CXX=gcc ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql --enable-thread-safe-client
--with-berkeley-db=./bdb --with-innodb
Not that CXX is gcc and not the c++ compiler from SCO.

I have traced this to a libc problem. The symbol is found in libc.so.1
