Hello. My name is Chidiki, and I'm based in NYC. I'm working towards MYSql
certification. I'm looking for a mentor to sorta take me under his or her wing.
Really just seeking some guidance and advice. I'm not a complete newbie to
databases as I've studied some Oracle and SQL in computer school.
Nice picture,
the mentor that takes you under his wing,
but actually you dont need it, or better, you have thousands if not more on
the internet to help you out.
Just ask here and on other sites or blogs, and you will have the help you
need.
I just ask you a personal favour, write it the right way,
Sorry everyone. Didn't know it'd cause this kind of response. Never mind,
thanks for
responding to my message all the same.
all the best,

There a many tutorials online. You do not need a tutor because when you ask
a
question here you will get many responses. You will get everyone here to
help you.
Start asking.
Good luck,
Nestor :-)

that??? I'm not naive, I "get it." So there were absolutely no expecations on
my part as far as having people "jump up to offer."
As I'm self-s
Where did the word "tutor" come from. And "$"? Guys, I'm fine learning on my
own. I love it! I'm pretty darn good with computers and know standard SQL. Just
seeking a mentor in the field. It's okay if that's not possible. Geez!

The mysql community is a friendly place full of intelligent people. It will
be there with more knowledge and experience then a single mentor could
cover. Read the documentation, play with the product, read some books. If
you need context or clarity lean on the lists/forums or IRC channels. Nobody

Maybe the sender sent it to you only.
Again, you got angry, take breath and ask your questions anytime.
