I'm confused.
You say you are at a dos prompt, but you show a mysql prompt.
At the dos prompt do:
mysql < temp.sql
At the mysql prompt:
source temp.sql

You don't need to be at the mysql> prompt to run it, just run this from the
DOS prompt:
mysql

Try typing:
mysql < Temp.sql
while at the DOS prompt.
