I tried doing this when I first got MySQL installed on the new machine, but when I did
"SHOW DATABASES;" through mysql it was not listed. Is there something I need to do to
let MySQL know that the database is there?

erver to do anything with them. I have tried
using tools mentioned here on this list to connect to the old server remotely and it
will not allow me, so hopefully there is something I can do with them locally on my
