I have:
mysql Ver 11.12 Distrib 3.23.32, for redhat-linux-gnu (i386)
and wonder about the log file /var/log/mysqld.log
shouldn't that include failed connections??

in PHP right now.
I would use regexp: s/(\d{1,2})\/(\d{1,2})\/(\d{4})/$3-$2-$1/ would do the
trick :o)
Then you have to check if it matches: /\d{4}-\d{1,2}-\d{1,2}/
If it does, just insert it, otherwise, the date inserted by the user
was not d/m/y.

Why not do an update regardless if the record exist or not,
then insert it if you get an error?

user@localhost, or real host or localhost.localdomain
for that matter. I wonder what I should do to
allow it on localhost only... e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
