Hi. I've been trying to convert to Mutt for my primary mail client and on a linux box this is working out just fine. However, on my SGI running irix 6.5.5, I've noticed disturbing behaviour, and don't know where to point. The symptom is that the index will display message information for messag

Hi. What's the best way of telling mutt that when I save a message that I don't want it to mark it as deleted? I'm most interested in setting this per folder. Short of perhaps rebinding "s" such that it does a toggle-unlink before save-message within a folder-hook (if that's even possible) is t

Has anyone gotten mutt (1.1.4i) to work with text/html attachments and the w3m browser? I've found w3m to be superior to lynx for things like forms and tables, but can't seem to get mutt to invoke it without just diplaying the raw HTML. I've tried mailcap entries such as: text/html; w3m %s But

Is it possible to bind \t (or whatever) so that next-unread will also jump to the next mailbox (as specified by the mailboxes option) that has unread mail? At present my mutt (1.3.12i) seems only to jump to the next unread in the currently open mailbox, and "c" will default to change to the next

Searching the outbox.

2001-01-17 Thread Scott A. McIntyre
Hi, What's the magic to being able to search an "outbox" (set record=) for a specific recipient? I can Search by subject just fine, but I can't seem to get mutt to Search based upon recipient. This one has got to be staring me in the face... Thanks, Scott

Making directories along the way.

2001-02-20 Thread Scott A. McIntyre
Hi, Is it possible to have mutt make directories at the same time it makes mailboxes? That is, if I want to save to =lists/interesting/mutt but the directory "interesting" doesn't exist, mutt will currently not save messages and whine about their being no such file or directory...I can't find an
