On Debian squeeze (Mutt 1.5.20), I used to have the following line in
mutt mailcap file
text/html; w3m '%s'; nametemplate=%s.html
Thus if I received an html message that was not readable by mutt, I went
to the attachment window and could see the message with w3m.
