I got nmh set up and running on my system and in my
/home/jude/.mutt/muttrc file have set mbox-format=mh. When I start mutt I
get /home/jude/Mail/inbox not found and if I create an inbox directory
under ~/Mail/ and move all received messages into that inbox directory
mutt claims /home/jude/Mail/in

PGP, S/MIME, all that I need...for one account. The only thing is, I am
increasingly dissatisfied with the direction GUI clients are going. I
had one I have been using for years and it just keeps getting more and

There's account hooks for that, but I don't know if they incur any

have your emails/accounts stored at the same place - desktop machine for example
- then offlineimap/fetchmail/mbsync is your way to go. There is no limit on user
accounts with this solution. Things might get a bit mor

I have machines in two countries (work and home) and I like to have all
the email in both places so I can get to it.
I have a subset of the accounts on a phone also.
Hello John,
I will try to answer for what my experience is:

1. I have more than two dozen accounts, mostly Google. I don't deal
with them in Mutt, but with a script that calls Mutt and provides
necessary info for each account. Makes my Mutt config simpler, I think.
The command "mutt" reads my work (non Google) email.
I have one script for all my gmail a

I haven't tried it, but what if you sort on date and then save or copy
to a separate new mbo

Hi,
This might not be the right place to report this but
I've just discovered that the mutt package on debian9
stable (or rather NeoMutt 20170113 (1.7.2)) segfaults
if you ask it to write to a readonly mbox file. It
happened several times yesterday before I realised what
was wrong (and yes, I did
