This works for me:
application/x-msexcel; xlHtml %s | w3m -T text/html; copiousoutput
Using w3m as you can see. Links is a nice browser, but it doesn't, as
far as I know, support reading on stdin yet.

mail, either a new one or a reply, after hitting "y", it just seems to
hang for a long time, and takes a minute or more for the mail to be
