hi,
In section 4.2 (Patterns), there is an entry :
~f USER messages originating from USER
Is it possible to modify mutt such that ~f will work for an alias rather than a single

Thanks,

Hi,
My apologies for bringing this issue to the list, but I asked around and
got no answer, and I believe some people on this list have PGP 6.x
installed in a Debian system. I just want to have it sorted out before
I install mutt 1.1.1i:
I'm having problems compiling pgp-6.5.1i-beta2.tar.gz

I also emailed to the list, and didn't get a reply. Either the list is

Well, some weeks ago, 6.5.1i-beta2 built just fine on the Debian
system here - I simply followed the instructions. However, there
was at least one bug in the validity/trust calculation stuff in
Hello
in an earlier version of Mutt I could set `my_hdr From:' which
also affected the From envelop.
This doesn't seem to work anymore.
Is there another means to set the From envelop?

Please don't direct mutt problems to my personal address. That's
what comp.mail.mutt, mutt-users & friends are used for.

my_hdr only affects the header, _not_ the envelope F
Hi !
One simple question... what about being able to sort_aux=threads ?
I currently sort by threads/subject, and want to be able to sort by
score/threads ... can this be done anyhow ?

For completeness, here are examples of my procmail rules and the script that
is called to play my mail for each mailbox.
It only plays sounds if i have a gdm session. So if i am logged in via
the windowing X11 stuff (runlevel 5). Not if i only telnet into my box.
Good luck.

This ('BufReadPost Auto commands') is from Vim's syntax files which are
used for things like colorization. I suggest you check your suntax

Hi all,
In the manual there is the following entry :

This specifies the file into which your outgoing messages should be
appended. (This is meant as the primary method for saving a copy of
your messages, but another way to do this is usi
Okay, I admit it; I am brain deaded. I've read through the docs and sample
muttrc's but am still confused about how to set up mutt to handle mailing
lists. Yes defining the lists themselves is piece of cake, but how to best
deal with sorting mail. For example, assume incoming mail for list1,
