I use GMail and have a macro to emulate GMail's "archive": macro index,pager A "+[Gmail].All Mail" "archive" But when I open up gmail after doing the above and go to All Mail, it shows up as unread. If I archive from within GMail, it shows up as unread, which is what I prefer. Note that I use of
