...the notino exist in browsers (elinks, firefox) but i was wondering if one could send remote commands to a running instance of mutt? for example to send mailto: uri action from a browsers.

it would be nice send commands directly to the mail server (mailman, majordomo, what have you) to pull the archive. with date range and so on. does anyone know of such command?
