Thanks to everyone who sent me replies on this. Here is what I ended up
doing which seems to be working great.
In my .aliases file I have a series of entries like this:
me-work Brian B. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
me-webmaster Brian B. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Then I created a macro in .muttrc
I've been looking around for a painless way to modify the From header based on
which account I am using.
I am sure this has been done as I can't be the only person with way too many
email accounts. I am looking for a patch or keybinding that will allow me to
scroll through a list of email ad
It seems to me that this is a function that is missing from many mail readers
for linux. I am by no means a hack but it seems to me that it would not be to
hard to move the current delete command to D instead of d and rewrite the
current code so that d works like the save function except that i
just wondering about the easiest way to go about makeing deleted mail transfer
to a"trash" folder before for later retrival/deletion.
whats wrong with this i got it and modified it from one of the mutt pages
save-hook mutt-users@ +mutt-users-save
could someone please post the section of thier mutrc that deals with
saving mailing list mail to a certian folder e.g. mutt-user mail gets saved to
=mutt-save
ok I know that set hostname changes the domain name in the from: field but how
do you change the username?
