Did you make changes prior to synching? Mutt is lazy and only attempts to
touch the target mailbox if something has changed. If nothing changed, not

I tend to update my mailbox with the $ (sync-mailbox) command, and then to
exit mutt with the x (exit) command.
I just noticed that this leaves the date of the mailbox unchanged.
This is a minor problem, which I did not notice earlier ... but
