I didn't even consider trying to fold in scripting to mutt, because
it seemed like it would be such a mammoth task, and such a significant change
for the project that it didn't seem like it would be either welcome
or easy.

5.1 and 5.2 are available in Debian's stable release, the release upon which
I want to run the client. So I've tested against both of those.

I wanted to say that a scriptable email client is
a very useful thing. Although it is in no way as
complete as Mutt I have
