I was meaning to release MS4W 5.0 last month, but for sure it will
happen this month (as there are so many security concerns with the old
version). I'm working hard on it and will get back to you here, with
good news soon.

version with our client framework and got everything working.
Also PHP Mapscript was already running here and there were no problems
with my Swig implementation.

The final MapServer 8.0.0 release will likely happen tomorrow or on the
weekend, and that will give the green light for me to put the final
touches on the big MS4W 5.0 release. I agree that this next MS4W
release is very important, and thanks for your patience through all of this.
