The flycatcher disappeared right away after it was found about 8:00 but then
relocated near the same area about 10:00. Last seen flying west from Alseth
road about 10:30 between Stoney point drive and scenic 61. Trying to relocate.

My mistake. Lutsen Resort is in Cook County. Trying to relocate the bird now.
It was in view for about five minutes on the lake side of the main resort
building and then disappeared as it flew up the hill towards the highway.

An unidentified Plegadis ibis just flew from a wetland on CR 2, 1 mi E of CR 3.
It landed out of sight ½ mi to the west of here, maybe ½ mi S of CR 2. This
area is 8 mi E of Browns Valley.

Just to clarify what Mark said: while I was only able to hear an Eastern on the
recording he sent, it's still quite possible that there is a Western Wood-Pewee
present which isn't audible on Mark's recording. Hopefully more recordings are
forthcoming to confirm the ID.

camera with me and
ship went through and flushed everything. 100-plus goldeneye also there but
this duck mostly outside the flock. Don’t know which way it flew. Will update

Just got word that it’s here this morning. Now farther in to the harbor near

Just seen in Duluth harbor at 11:30 a mile west of Canal Park. One block west
of Pier B hotel / Silos restaurant at 8th Ave West & Railroad St. Best access
and parking there. Still associating with goldeneyes. Ducks moved because
shipping channel now covered with shifting ice pack. -Kim Ec
Just reported at Bayfront Park Saturday morning. Near the Great Lakes Aquarium.

John Ellis just called to report it’s now between the aquarium and the Pier B
hotel. By itself with other ducks.

...still present now at Pier B hotel with goldeneyes. Often swims out of sight

I’m not aware of any Tufted Duck reports since Tuesday but it is probably still
present somewhere in the harbor as it moves around with shifting ice

Since there have been no other reports to mounet... it was reported about a
half hour ago on the bay side of Park Point at 19th Street. Not yet relocated.

Two present now out from Leif Erikson Park at 12th Ave East. On L Superior at
edge of ice pack. (One was found here this morning by the Kraemers.)

Male found this morning by the MInn Birding Weekends group on 121st Street, 2
mi W of Hwy 75. This is just N of Pipestone Natl Monument. In a yard with
feeders on N side of 121st and viewable from the road. -Kim Eckert
