Hi Jan,
It's a later bird than usual, as in half the years they are gone from the
southern half of the state by 21 October. Ovenbird is one of those warblers

This morning I watched an ovenbird "walking" in the leaves in my yard. It
seems like a late date to me. I found a copy of the Loon that said Oct. 10.

ovenbird singing, so I hope all i

I have had an Ovenbird in the yard since the beginning of September. It can fly
partially, but appears to have some sort of wing injury.
I saw it this morning eating sunflower chips. It is getting rather late for
this bird to be around.

First I've ever seen - in west Como neighborhood. Unfortunately, it was found
dead on a neighbor's front steps - no signs of injury. A beautiful little
thing.

At 1500 hours on Sunday I saw an Ovenbird at Westwood Nature Center in St Louis
Park. The bird was seen by the parking lot adjacent to the path leading up to
the Center building- on the left side about 50' in from the parking lot. That
area is proving to be a "hot spot" that seems to attractive
