Hello, just observed an adult male Hooded Warbler at Riverview cemetery in

Take the Highway 70 (Rock Creek) exit from I-35. Go west, the first
crossroads is Falcon Avenue. Turn south on Falcon, the Ruff is with

Anoka County side.
The downtown Minneapolis Snowy Owl was also still present earlier this

At 11:00 today (11/25) I observed a Carolina Wren at the Old Frontenac
Cemetery. It was foraging in the brush piles at the loop at the end of the
road, near the garbage can.

Flyover by two birds in the ski trail area of Lake Byllesby Regional Park
Well seen and heard. There is a good supply of ash seeds in the beach area
if they decide to stick around.

The Northern Mockingbird previously found by the MBW group at Bayside Park
in Silver Bay is still present this morning, feeding on Mountain Ash near
the beach/picnic area.
Also had a low Peregrine fly-by.

Hi,
Just saw one Bohemian Waxwing with a small flock of Cedar Waxwings in a
juniper (full of berries) on 61st St just west of Lyndale. This is the
south edge of the Bachmann parking lot. The flock is currently in an ash
tree across the street.

Snowy Egret is still present, refound earlier by Bob Ekblad and Joel
Claus. Currently on the rocks on the east side of the northwest pond.

The beautiful Pacific Loon was still present this afternoon despite the
presence of some folks on a paddle boat.
The Northern Mockingbird at Blue Mounds S.P. entrance station was also
cooperative. The Park's trees are crawling with warblers, sparrows, and
thrushes. Thanks Dave and Ron!

Preparations were underway for a 1-mile run here, including a band setting
up, so locating this bird this evening might be difficult.
