I was planning to write a module to determine the readability of
English text. It would analyse a file or string and determine
1. number of letters,
2. number of words, average word length and words per sentence
3. word frequency count
4. number of sentences
5. number of paragraphs, sentences p
Are there any rules defining what goes into this list.
Several people as well as myself have registered our
name spaces but they never seem to make it onto the
list. Are we missing something?

I am enhancing one of my CPAN modules and have a need to convert
state/province codes to there full name and vice versa.
I have found a module that does all this, Geography::States.
Unfortunately, it only exists in the user's home directory, ABIGAL.
There is no name space for Geography.
Has this
s a better name for it (as Locale directory already exists).
If yes, then I can suggest to the author that it could be renamed.
It is very frustrating to be kept in the dark . Many postings here,
particularly
submissions to the module list just go ignored.

Hi,
I started this module in 2005 and haven't done any work on it since. I
don't really have access to the type of test data needed to fully
develop this any more. The module is well documented, but needs more
work. It is a fairly difficult class of problem to solve well, but is
very useful.
