If you are unable to get a response from them, please let me know. The
guy who joined the team and was given responsibility for the code seems
quite sincere about supporting it, so I will be happy to help get a
conversation started.

Hi, sorry for not answering sooner.
Yes, I got a reply from the guys at MS. They said that they just started to
work again on the module and that they will consider my patches. That was
one month ago. Well, I guess they just need some more time.
