The EMAIL address upl...@pause.perl.org on the PAUSE Force Reindexing
(https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=reindex) page seems to be
inoperative.
There appears to be no MX record for pause.perl.org so EMAIL delivery falls
back to the A/Address record and there is no SMTP service
I’m now able to upload the distribution, so that issue seems to have
been temporary in nature.

Yeah, I was using windows and creating the tarball with 7z. My solution was
to just move the module to a linux machine and create the tarball there. A
friend of mine suggested distzilla, but I think I'll try (your)
Module::Release. Perhaps my buddy and I can compare dist tools.

Is anyone else having trouble with PAUSE upload right now? I've been
trying for the last few days, and get either HTTP timeouts or
"Document contains no data" when I hit the 'Upload this file from my
disk' button. In the case of ftp uploads, uploading to the ftp serv
now shows up as "DateCalc4.3binMacOS.tar.gz" in my
CPAN dir. This is really not what I wanted and thus I've scheduled
the files for deletion.
To avoid these problems in the future, I'd like to upload my file(s)
via FTP. According to the PAUSE upload form one should be able to
upload to an
