Tie::AliasHash module. I'm optimistic and assuming that
nobody have objections to it (instead of being pessimistic
and assuming that nobody actually read it :-).

I have a proposal for a new module, called
Tie::AliasHash. it provides a tied hash with 'alias'
keys (or even a 'jolly' key). the stripped down
synopsis is:
use Tie::AliasHash;
tie %hash, 'Tie::AliasHash';
$hash{ [ 'foo', 'bar' ] } = "xxx";
print $hash{'foo'}; # xxx
