Is there an easy way (a tool) to locate
all uninitialized variables for modperl modules in a dirctory so I can
initilized them and get rid of the annoying warnings? Googlling on the internet

Just starting to
What I did was
install perl 5.8.7 in /usr/local/bin
mv /usr/bin /usr/bin/perl5.8.0
ln -s /usr/local/bin/perl usr/bin/perl
add /usr/local/bin to $PATH in your .bash_profile if not already. reboot the
server. Then install Apache/modperl
Hope this helps.
