I have installed perl 5.10.0 and apache V2.1-1 and modperl V2.1 on my VMS
I64 v8.3 machine. when i start the apache its giving the following error
"Syntax error on line 13 of /apache$common/conf/mod_perl.conf:
Can't locate API module structure `perl_module' in file
/apache$root/00/modules
I'm trying to install mod_perl but it asking for a apache/src directory and
it's no where to be found.
Is there anything else I can do?

Any time you change to a different perl, you must recompile mod_perl.

Hi Perrin,
I went over to apache.org and I saw apache_1.3.41.tar.gz, but I'm not seeing
mod_perl. Also, can you tell me where to find instructions to install
them... do I do them together in one source directory with the standard
configure/make/make install?

I just compiled and installed mod_perl 2.0.3 for apache Apache/2.2.8
Did a LoadModule perl_module modules/mod_perl.so in httpd.conf
No errors and get the following in logs when bounce httpd service:
