Hi all,
Some time ago we had a thread about starting long-running background processes
from mp2. I've found a race condition in our last solution. The helper
background script could be killed by apache cleanup handler before it had a
chance to fork into background and do "setsid". Here's the sc

As I wrote in a previous mail, there is another error with the MP_STATIC_EXTS=1
option. When running make, the process dies with:

`../../../blib/arch/auto/APR/Base64/Base64.so', needed by `dynamic'. Stop.

Hi,
I'm sure I should know this, but I'm trying to post-process the output of my
handler with PHP. I'm still a bit green on Apache inner workings and just
can't make it happen.
I've made sure the php LoadModule statement is before the Perl one in
httpd.conf. I've tried using a URI which ends in

Just to be clear - your mod_perl handler is outputting PHP source which

I have no idea as I don't use this setup, sorry. However, Apache::DB
has to provide an (albeit trivial) patch to perl5db.pl, so I suppose

Hello,
I've just compiled Apache 2.0.53, PHP and MySQL. Now I want to install
mod_perl into apache, and this is how I did it:
echo "/lib" >> /etc/ld.so.conf
ln -s /lib/libdb1.so.2 /lib/libdb1.so
ldconfig
- This is due to, that after I installed the libdb1, it still complained
that it couldnt fi
I need to restart or graceful restart apache server from one of his
child. It is possible? If yes, how to do this more correctly?
Thanks
