I think I see what you're saying. It seems like a very expensive
problem to solve. It must be a barrier to people choosing mod_perl to
develop their apps because it might be the case that their
distribution and installation process is more complex to develop and
support than their actual applicatio
_perl and Apache savvy consultants out there
available for tapping? Google gives results but if anyone wants to
recommend a group then I'd be happy to hear from them. (BTW, you can't
even buy the SEO module at the moment so this is about preparations.)

i have filters working correctly for a directory on my website. there
is a subdirectory that i would like to not be passed through the
filters. can i do this through the apache conf file or do i need to
code this into my filters?
