Hello, we are trying to get the Quectel BG96 modem to work with qmi_wwan using
ModemManager and NetworkManager.
We followed the instructions from Quectel to support the Qeuctel BG96
https://www.quectel.com/UploadImage/Downlad/Quectel_WCDMA
odemManager[158]: transaction 0x361 aborted, but message is
not abortable

operation failed: Transaction timed out
Version of ModemManager used: 1.10.8
Version of libqmi used: 1.24.0

Hey,
To answer your questions below:
1. We are not actively resetting the modem anymore. We found that this only
made matters worse. Essentially the kernel was not releasing the USB interfaces
of the modem completely, which results in ModemManager not acquiring the right
ports.
2. We are now
ack trace of
that, because we are not able to compile the libmm-glib libraries with debug
symbols.
This is an issue on our side with Buildroot and it’s way of building packages.
Hopefully this information is useful,
Currently used versions:
ModemManager: v1.12.2
libqmi: v1.24.0
libglib2: v2.56
he script
we used to manually set up the connection.
Best regards,

are able to connect via PPP.
However, I want to eventually use the new profile management APIs to set
the PDP context correctly. Just to make it more robust.
Looking forward to ModemManager v1.18 :)
