I think it has been said before, but when i try to record using lavrec in a
at or cron job, there is no recording, just an e-mail with:
press return to start/ press return to stop
repeated over and over again.
I tried the -w flag to force lavrec to wait but to no avail.
Has anyone a solut

If you're in an NTSC country and using 'smilutils' (either 0.1.2 or
0.1.3) I think you really want to apply the patch below so that the
PAL sample aspect ratio doesn't get put into the YUV4MPEG2 header.

Use "lavrec --batch". C
Appreciate ideas on what's wrong and how to fix.
System is RH7.2 with 2.4.20 custom kernel. When I do:
# rpm --rebuild mjpegtools-1.6.1-1.src.rpm
I terminate with errors as follows:
