Yes, I can record, but the resulting images show a zig-zag pattern that
probably can be explained with what you say below: the signal is
actually composite video, but it goes into a S-Video

CCRMA-Low-Latency-Kernel is bootet with generic FC3-Kernel 2.6.10.
