I'm trying to convert a motion JPEG(AVI) file to a JPEG file, as follows.
lavtrans -o output.jpg -f i -i 10 +n input.avi
This should create 10th frame JPEG file, but the output.jpg seems
to be invalid. I can't open it with gimp.
What's wrong?
Thank you

Hi all
I have something odd here.
I get my footage in XGA (1024*768) Mov (422 uncompressed using libquicktime).

| y4mtoppm | \
| ppm2raw -a -2 > my_super8.dv

I am trying latest CVS on MacOS 10.3.9. The following did "just
work" up to now (and does with mjpegtools-1.8.0 which I
downloaded and installed for comparison):
$ ffmpeg -i TEST.mov -an -f yuv4mpegpipe -y - | mpeg2enc -f 8
