There are tools like gopchop for example.
For transport stream's (digital Sat) a late version of Project-X has
also a simple cut facility included.

The mjpeg tools AVI file handling can only handle 2GB file.
Because AVI first had a 2GB limit. And openDML ist not yet implemented.

I recorded a nature documentary on television.
The transport stream is 720x576. Okay, that is a little unusual,
normally transport streams are 480x576.
Anyway, the source stream is interlaced.
Since I want to fit the whole series on DVD I want to shrink it.
