Just speculating out loud, I would suspect that some vendors use OBSD
but don't admit it. From a marketing and pricing perspective, they can
probably charge more if they can get clients to believe that they've
developed their own customized proprietary hardened OS.

Just another idea. Start making the mega-companies like IBM, RedHat, etc
pay a license fee for the use of OpenSSH. They save literally millions
of dollars incorporating this into their own products, and don't give

I think the OpenBSD team is extremely focused on what they do best,
writing good code, and these irrelevant sideshows on things that don't
matter is incredibly annoying.
